Below are the youth who participated as Peer Mentors and Fellows during the 2024 Cohort.

Sean Rivera

Peer Mentor

For Sean, being a Peer Mentor meant showing the youth how many opportunities really exist for them and how they can use their voice.

Samiyah Hines

Peer Mentor

To Samiyah, being a Peer Mentor means showing resilience and creating a healthy support system for her peers. Give them hope and confidence in themselves so they know they are capable.

Chasen Ford

Fellow

For Chasen, being a Fellow meant learning how to advocate and fight for what's right. Decisions that affect him and those around him should include his opinion and perspective.

Lynnen Jacks

Fellow

For Lynnen, being a Fellow means influencing her peers to become leaders, changing law enforcement to better work with youth, and getting schools to provide safer spaces for youth to thrive.

Kyler Jackson-Majors

Fellow

To Kyler, being a Fellow means getting a platform to share her experiences and use her voice for better decision making. Meeting community leaders and discussing youth issues with other youth empowers her to take a stand.

Ciana Ferguson

Fellow

To Ciana, being a Fellow means being involved in her community and working to make a difference. Youth Justice needs everyone's help. She wants to become a leader for that
